Get our your sparkliest outfits and join us on February 24th from 6:00 pm- 9:30pm at the Lakeview Room at Rio Vista Recreation Center. The evening will be an extravaganza of of culinary, casinos, and cocktails...all for a great cause!
Our guests will experience the fun and excitement of playing in a real casino while enjoying culinary delights from our own One Step Beyond catering team. This event will feature game tables much like the ones you would find in a real casino, as well as professional dealers. But instead of going to Las Vegas, Las Vegas comes to you!
"Casino Rules”/FAQ
When each guest registers for the event, your $100 ticket price/donation includes chips to play the casino game(s) of your choice.
Q. What if I run out of chips?
A. You can make another donation for more chips and keep playing, or just enjoy the rest of the event. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be available all evening.
Q. Can I get extra chips when I purchase my ticket?
A. Yes, of course. Minimum buy in is $100. Additional chips can be purchased in $50 increments.
Q. What is the casino start/end time?
A. Please join us at 6pm for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Gaming begins at 6:30pm and ends at 9:00pm, then we count the chips and winners are announced.
Q. What games will be available?
A. Black Jack, Craps, & Roulette
Q. How do these games “work”
A. The dealers & other casino staff are very helpful and friendly. They'll be available for any questions you may have. The key difference between play at a Casino Fundraiser and "the real thing" is that no actual gambling takes place. The games are played with chips with no cash value for entertainment only.
Q. How do I win?
A. At the end of the evening players turn their chips in to the Event Manager. We’ll count them up and announce the winners!
Q. What are the prizes?
A. Prizes include a gift voucher for Great Wolf Lodge ($200 value), 6 Full Day Passes for Great Wolf Lodge Water Park ($600 value), an overnight stay & gift basket from Harrah’s Ak-Chin ($350 value) and a gift certificate from Heart 2 Heart Healing Massage ($60 Value).
